Recalculate

"We have to admit that overcoming hardship may initially be difficult to do. After we get over the feeling of helplessness, there is a new focus and a recalculation of goals. We learn to put things behind us and forge ahead. We have to get back to feeling good, feeling God and feeling our oomph again. One such technique to getting back into good spirits is laughter. Without it, we would be subjected to torturous tedium."

What's In A Name?

"There IS power in speaking the name of God - whichever name we choose. We are calling forth the supreme power of the universe - waking the ethers, drumrolling the imminent arrival of the King of Kings.

It gives us such an instant resolve and clarification to know that we have perched the wondrous graces of knowing that we are not alone in the world. Everything we do, we do it with another hand guiding us. Everything we touch, we touch it with another hand touching us.

When we are in the flow of love and we look back on dark moments, we wonder how we ever got there? Spirit moves us through the stratosphere so rapidly that the dissatisfactory times are minuscule compared to the magnificent times - the times when we are happy to be alive and present in our lives."

Raison d'ĂȘtre

"There has been so much talk about the economy - falling stock markets, housing market slumps, bankruptcies, job losses and companies going belly up that it’s enough to make us feel uneasy about our future.

There is a pattern embedded into our consciousness that prepares us for polarity - light and darkness - good and evil - hills and valleys - yin and yang.

Even when the most despoiling particulars happen to us, our Soul is unharmed. Our Soul is a catalyst. Our Soul is an invincible player in the game of life. It can crawl through the mud, sand, water, jump over hurdles, go through fire, leap from tall buildings and do whatever it takes to survive. It is our ally. Our companion. Our guidance. Our Soul survival is our raison d'ĂȘtre."

Drop Your Thoughts

"Drop your thoughts long enough to grasp the essence of your Soul and let that carry you through your days. If not, the mind is like a child that keeps putting his hand in the fire knowing it's bad for him. You can't burn away your Soul in defiance of self realization. An addiction to the mind is an aberrant of the Soul."

The Same Cloth

"As an American I never realized that so many people around the world were watching us like goldfish in a fishbowl. It is a lesson for me that we are not alone - as Americans or any other culture. We are all in this together - cut from the same cloth of compassion. Citizens of the world care about the economy, their education, their children, their survival, and the quality of life wherever we live. We are one. We are the world. Let’s abolish the burdens of the past and let them lift us into the light."

Finding A Soul Mate

"How much time do we spend searching for a soul mate? We look all around us, but never inside - where the soul mate is residing. Once we realize that, we won't search outside of ourselves for it. A soul mate is different aspects of us that meet in the middle. When we explore the effervescent qualities of our Soul, we are mated for life."

Mind Over What Doesn't Matter

"Unlike the numerous newspapers and television news stations who have endorsed one or the other candidate, we must make up our own mind. One of the most difficult things we can do is to make up our own mind and not be influenced by what we read. That is the mark of an independent thinker. We have to sift through the bells and whistles of the promises and the lies packaged in pretty gold boxes until we open them and find them empty. We have to open our eyes, watch, listen and remember."

More importance is placed on technological connection rather than human connection. Sooner than not, we will be wired to an electronic cable extended from the sky and pulled to a destiny determined by a satellite. Trouble Shooting

"We don't know what really transpires behind closed doors, in dark alleys or in hidden caves across the world to cause any war. We only know after the fact what "may" have happened to cause the schism? The truth is taken to the grave.

It's hard to exhume truth with so many skeletons in the closet. Many years of wrongdoing are in the veins of blood that run deep through generations.

We have to see our fellow man from inside his heart, his reasoning, logic and trouble-shooting experience.

We have to start a dialogue, get to know him, walk in his shoes, feel where he's coming from, see where he's going. We must see him as we would like to be seen and not judge what we think we know of him.

If we get to know him, we find that we both want peace even if it is pieced together little by little. We are mosaic interwoven in the spirit of God. We are bound to each other."
