Mind Over What Doesn't Matter

"Unlike the numerous newspapers and television news stations who have endorsed one or the other candidate, we must make up our own mind. One of the most difficult things we can do is to make up our own mind and not be influenced by what we read. That is the mark of an independent thinker. We have to sift through the bells and whistles of the promises and the lies packaged in pretty gold boxes until we open them and find them empty. We have to open our eyes, watch, listen and remember."
