BTW, some people believe otherwise; that instead of setting us free, love is more like a tyrant who binds us and makes us weak. What would you say about this?

Love is neither a tyrant nor a slave, but it does bind us together and that's a good thing. When we love - truly love - we are set free from the dross, the labels and the enslavement of matter.
