While the loss of faith, if it leads to what is, may give birth to true faith, and hence is not a tragedy at all.

Maybe, tragedy or blessing, is simply a matter of perspective :)

You bring up a very good point. However, I think blind faith comes from a source of knowledge too. I think any faith is a sign that God is.

Tragedy and blessings are certainly a matter of perspective.
